Justin Timberlake of NSYNC has revealed that he has been managing Lyme disease while performing on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The illness caused fatigue, nerve pain, and other symptoms that affected some of his performances, leading to criticism from fans and observers. In an Instagram post, Timberlake said, “I shared this not for sympathy, but to raise awareness about Lyme disease and the many people living with it.”
Despite the challenges, Timberlake emphasized the joy of performing, which kept him motivated to continue touring. “Even with the challenges, being on stage is where I feel alive. That’s what kept me going night after night,” he said.
Chris Kirkpatrick, Timberlake’s NSYNC bandmate, praised his dedication and resilience, stating, “Watching Justin perform night after night while battling Lyme disease is nothing short of heroic. That’s superhero status right there.”
Timberlake joins other public figures, including Avril Lavigne and Justin Bieber, in speaking publicly about their experiences with Lyme disease. By sharing his story, he hopes to educate fans and the public about the realities of living with the disease and inspire awareness, early diagnosis, and support for those affected.
